HOW WE HANDLE YOUR ACCOUNT

Switch to a Secure, Transparent Account Experience

We apply consistent data-handling and security practices across every account on d12.

Data Storage

Account data — including KYC documents, transaction records, and session logs — is stored on encrypted servers. We retain records for the period required by applicable Indian financial regulations, then delete or anonymise them.

Cookie Policy

We use session and analytics cookies to keep your lobby preferences intact and measure which pages load correctly on your device. You can manage cookie consent from your account settings at any time.

Account Security

Two-factor authentication is available on every d12 account. We recommend enabling it immediately after registration. Suspicious login attempts trigger an automatic lock and an alert to your registered email or phone number.

Data Retention Period

We keep transaction and identity data for as long as required under applicable law, typically five to seven years after your last account activity. You may request a summary of what we hold at any point via email.

Who to Contact

Our Data Protection contact is reachable through the email address listed in the help centre. This is the correct channel for access requests, correction requests, or queries about how long your data will be retained.

Requesting Changes

To update your registered details — name, phone, linked UPI or Paytm ID — submit a request via live chat or email with the relevant supporting document. Changes are processed within two business days after verification.

Explore the Most-Asked Terms Questions

These questions cover the clauses we get asked about most — account eligibility, payment rules, data rights, and how to raise a formal dispute. If your question is not here, live chat or email will connect you to someone who can answer it directly.

Account access depends on local law and is available where local law permits. You are responsible for confirming that accessing d12 is lawful in your location before you create an account. We may request identity documents to verify eligibility at any stage.

A breach may result in suspension or permanent closure of your account, forfeiture of promotional credits, and a hold on pending withdrawals pending investigation. We will notify you by email before taking action where circumstances allow.

The current version of these terms is always available in the help centre under your account. You can also request a PDF copy via email. We publish a change log so you can see what was updated and when.

Deposits and withdrawals via UPI, Paytm, or PhonePe are subject to both these terms and the individual policies of those payment providers. Discrepancies in transaction amounts must be reported within 14 days of the transaction date.

Yes. You can submit a deletion request via email to our Data Protection contact. We will action it to the extent permitted by applicable law — certain records must be kept for regulatory periods before deletion is possible.

We send a notification to your registered email at least seven days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use your account after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. You can close your account if you do not agree.

Disputes are handled under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction in India. We encourage you to contact our support team first — most account and payment issues are resolved within 48 hours without the need for formal proceedings.
